We checked in late, due to flight arrangements. The guy at reception was neither friendly nor helpful at all. The room on the first night was so noisy (highway) a few meters away, that we asked for a quiet room. We were relocated to the back of the motel. The room was filthy and smelled. The carpet in the room was dirty and stained. The room was furnished with some damaged ripped vinyl armchairs.
The 'court yard' had weeds that reached a meter high and some broken furniture scattered amongst it. The accommodation was listed on the web as 'deluxe'. It was worst then a rundown shack. A total rip off for this price. I had prepaid my accommodation for 3 days, which I regretted badly as I had to stay in this place. Places like that should be closed down.
Hobart is a very nice town with lots of things to do. This was our second visit to Hobart. We loved it and will return, hopefully to a better accommodation somewhere in Hobart.
