The Jackson Townhouse was like a home away from home for our family!

A spacious, 19th Century townhouse, furnished and decorated in a welcoming period style.

We arrived after a two-week drive around half of Tassie and were utterly delighted with what we found.

A good start: The entry hall was wide enough to hold our family of five and their assorted baggage. The large map of Tasmania in the hall helped us trace where we'd been and plan more.

Next stop the kitchen: Much excitement about the fruit, the eggs, the bacon, the cereal, the juice and the bear-shaped honey. Well equipped and has basic pantry items.

In the sitting room / dining room everyone found somewhere to sit and something to do (chess, magazines, toys, books, TV, DVDs). There were flowers, more fruit, a dish of candy, snuggly throws and decanter of delicious port.

At the end of the day, after a spa bath, the two lovely bedrooms were peaceful retreats; the beds cozy and comfortable.

The extra touches in every room made us feel very well cared for. Thanks Lyn
