Woolmers Inn was a very convenient place to stay in Hobart as it was close to the Sandy Bay shopping area and restaurants and within walking distance of Central Hobart. Our unit was cosy and comfortable, however there wasn't a lot of space in the master bedroom and unfortunately we could hear someone snoring in the next unit! The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Hobart is a very interesting place and we had no problem finding things to do in the short time we were there. The cruise on the Derwent River was picturesque and informative, and we enjoyed the 90 minute tour of the city in a double decker bus. The museum is excellent, with an outstanding display on the local aboriginal people and other impressive sections on aspects of local history, geography, environment and culture.
